The new Chelsea home kit for 2010-2011 season has been revealed. The design is pretty much same as this season with the most prominent feature being the red V-necks. Supposedly this has to do with the Chelsea Pensioners who sit in the main stands wearing red jackets.

The new home kit will be worn for the first time on
9th May against Wigan.

The Goalkeeper's kit looks very good and is a welcome change from the bright orange that Cech currently wears.

I cannot agree more. Hoping that this kit is the lucky one and helps us win the Champions League next season.

@Joe, Atleast it is not bad as the current one. Yellow is a common colour for goalkeeper kits.

the scientific expltn for cech's bright orange s that players who shoot for goal have a large probability of striking with hand eye co-ordination and if they spot the bright color of the kepper kit they have a tendency to shoot strght to them.:-)

Well to be honest Cech's new strip is actually a fluro green, and not a yellow. I have both the Orange on and the current one, but my favourite is still the black with the green trimming.

i ghink the kit looks really good and the fact that some people are saying that is rubbish is stupid as this kit may in fact bring the cups in. just you wait till end of season then you'll see if your wrong or not!!! COME ON CHELSEA !!

you idiots look at the chelsea crest it has red in it. and remember the 1981 and 1983 and 1984 and 1987 and 1989 and 1991 and 1992 and 1993 and 1994 home kits it all had red in them!!! (and dont even get me started on away kits). so basically its no surprise they would add red.
nice kit,i hope it will give chelsea team and it fans the best of luck,so that chelsea will hit europe this time,chlsea 4 real one love.
