Chelsea have been given a major boost after the likes of Petr Cech, Eden Hazard, Samuel Eto’o, and John Terry all took part in training ahead of the Champions League semi-final clash with Atletico Madrid.
The blues will be taking on the Spanish club at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
After the 0-0 draw in the first leg, Jose Mourinho said that Cech and Terry were out for the season. Eto’o and Hazard were also seen as major doubts for the second leg since they did not take part in the 2-0 win over Liverpool.
However, all four players trained ahead of the match prompting speculation that the Chelsea starting line-up could be much stronger than expected.
Only Hazard’s participation for the entire 90 minutes is doubtful given that he has not played since the quarter-final against PSG. Eto’o scored in his last Chelsea appearance against Sunderland. He has scored all of his Chelsea goals at the Bridge.
