Chelsea revealed the new home kit for the 2011-12 season exactly a month ago and now it is available for general sale. The new home kit does away with the red strips around the neck to go for three white stripes from the neck that lead downwards. Apparently, it is taking inspiration from the 80s Chelsea kits. Even though looks are subjective, one definitely has to say that these look much better than the ones that are currently being used. The generous use of white colour has definitely done the trick.
The shirt had been available for pre-ordering till now, but from the 12th of May, it goes on general sale. The shirt will be worn for the first time in the home match against Newcastle on the 14th of May. As ever, it comes loaded with technologies developed by Adidas, but only the Adidas ClimaCoolâ„¢ technology will be available in the replica shirts.
The availability of this kit has now meant that you can get the 2010-11 kit with huge discounts. Along with it, there are plenty of other merchandises from this season to buy on the clear-out sale.
