Chelsea managed to get the first away win of the Premier League 2013/14 season after a 3-1 win over Norwich City. It could have been easily yet more dropped points for Chelsea, as we went into the last five minutes with the score 1-1. Oscar had given the lead after just three minutes through a well-worked goal that was reminiscent of the Drogba – Lampard days. A long ball up front was put into the path by Demba Ba for Oscar to score his fourth goal of the season.

Chelsea were not running away with the match by any means, as Norwich pressed extremely hard. They got their reward in the 68th minute through Pilkington’s header. From then on in, Norwich pushed for a victory. It ultimately led to their downfall. Substitute Eden Hazard completed a brilliant counter-attack from a Norwich corner to put Chelsea ahead in the 85th minute. However, it will be another substitute Willian who will grab all the headlines for his brilliant first goal for Chelsea.
His goal, which was a fiercely struck left foot shot into the top corner, came just a minute after Hazard’s goal. Two magic substitutions, three points, and only two points off the top – that’s a nice feeling going into the international break.
