Jose Mourinho has landed himself in hot water by suggesting that the current crop of Chelsea strikers are not capable of scoring goals, while he even suggested that Samuel Eto’o might be 35 years old.
Mourinho was speaking to a journalist but it seems that the private conversation was filmed. French broadcasters Canal+, who first released the video has since removed it, but here is the controversial video. Mourinho said:
‘The problem with Chelsea is I lack a scorer. I have Eto’o but he is 32 years old, maybe 35, who knows?’
‘I need a striker. Falcao needs a club. A player like him cannot play in front of 3,000 people. Monaco is a club to end (your career with).’
Such talk has sparked rumours that Chelsea are set to make a summer offer for Radamel Falcao, who is currently on the sidelines after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament. Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa also continues to be linked with Chelsea.
We still have Romelu Lukaku on our books, but strangely, he appears to be on his way out with the club ready to sell him and use the cash on the likes of Falcao and Costa instead.
Morinho should know that a striker who is not given the full opportunity to play can never score the goal.So he should be given the opportunity to play.
Pls and morinho let lukaku play from chelsea i love he very much up chelsea for life
