Chelsea fans largely remained positive despite the 3-1 defeat against Atletico Madrid that sent the blues out of the Champions League at the semi-final stage for yet another season.
Fernando Torres’ first-half goal appeared to have given Chelsea passage into the finals where we could have faced Real Madrid.
However, an impressive comeback from Atletico Madrid saw them beat the blues 3-1 and progress to the finals.
José Mourinho has been taking a lot of criticism in recent weeks for Chelsea’s style of football and there is likely to be no respite in the coming weeks.
A lot will now hinge upon the slim hopes of winning the Premier League title this season. Chelsea host Norwich City on Sunday hoping to avoid three consecutive defeats at home.
Come on…. Aren’t we supposed to be ‘supporters’ ???? #CFC 🙂

And at least we can congratulate Torres on his game! Played well, and scored a great goal. Respect him for not celebrating against his club.

There was criticism for Fernando Torres not celebrating his goal. Journalist Paul Hayward said:
No celebration from Torres for his goal against Atletico. His choice, but ridiculous. It’s a Champions League semi-final. Chelsea pay him.

Well played, but Mourinho should try to play more attacking game at home than defence. Am still happy despite the loss
An improved performance by Chelsea, in Mourinho’s first season in charge. More room for improvement
