Clubs have been busy investing ahead of the new season as they look to find a way to challenge the dominant Manchester City side. Reaching 100 points was some feat and if they replicate there title winning form then they will again be picking up the trophy.
Chelsea had a rather disappointing Premier league season considering they started as the defending champions. Maurizio Sarri has now taken over following an impressive season leading Napoli to a near miss in the Serie A.
Sarri has brought over Jorginho for £50.4 million from Napoli which is a tip in itself in regards his ability. He is an immense talent and is likely to play a starring role in London this season. The latest Betfair odds on the Premier league make Chelsea 12/1 to lift the title with the previously mentioned City at just 8/13. Last season’s Champions league runners up Liverpool are the second favourites for the title at 4/1.
