The 31-year-old picked up a knee injury in mid-August and is still undergoing rehabilitation. He’s expected to return for Chelsea’s meeting with Arsenal on October 21.

The 22-year-old underwent anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery in July and is likely to be out for most of the season.
