Chelsea travel to the Gtech Community Stadium to face Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. The Blues could move into the top-half of the table with a win, but their away form has been inconsistent.
Brentford have been in poor form of late, however, so Chelsea might fancy their chances of stopping the rot. Mauricio Pochettino’s men have only lost one game in the last month, so they’re in better shape.
Brentford are spiralling

Chelsea aren’t having the best Premier League campaign, but Brentford are really struggling. The Bees are 16th in the table and closer to the relegation zone than 13th-place. Brentford have lost more than twice the amount of games they won, so Thomas Frank is under pressure.
Brentford are coming off the back of five defeats from their last six games, shipping 15 goals for their troubles. The Bees have managed only two wins since early December, so they’re in really bad shape. Playing on home soil hasn’t been a saving grace either with five defeats and one draw from eight.
Chelsea form has picked up in recent weeks

Chelsea have been inconsistent all season but are enjoying an upturn in form. The Blues are coming off the back of three wins and one draw from their last five games. They’ve improved on the road too. Chelsea have won two and drawn one of their previous three away outings.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men nearly picked up all three points at the Etihad Stadium recently, so they’ll be confident. Chelsea had a bad run of form in November and December, but they’re in better shape than Brentford now. The Blues lost to the Bees in October’s reverse fixture, so they’ll be gunning for revenge.
Chelsea will be slim favourites to come out on top at the Gtech Community Stadium, but can they deliver? They should be on high after winning a five-goal thriller against Leeds United to reach the FA Cup quarter-final.
