John Terry has made an announcement that he is returning to Chelsea and will be working in the club’s academy. Terry had recently been part of the coaching staff at Leicester under Dean Smith, but left after the team’s relegation from the Premier League. Prior to his time at Leicester, Terry had been involved in Chelsea’s youth setup.
In his previous role, Terry worked with Mark Robinson’s Under-21 team, and Chelsea has now decided to bring him back for the upcoming season. As a player, Terry made an impressive 715 appearances for Chelsea, winning numerous trophies including five Premier League titles, five FA Cups, three League Cups, the Champions League, and the Europa League.

Terry follows in the footsteps of fellow Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, who had a spell as caretaker manager last season after the departure of Graham Potter. Chelsea seems keen on bringing back their former stars to contribute to the club’s continued success.
