Chelsea beat Fulham 1-0 in the Premier League on Saturday, extending their winning streak at home to four games. Chelsea are 9th in the table and could move up to 6th if results go their way on Gameweek 22.
The Blues are unbeaten at Stamford Bridge since October’s defeat to Brentford, so they’re without a loss in two months. Mauricio Pochettino’s men are finally showing some consistency for a strong finish to the season.
Chelsea home form since last defeat

- 3/12/23: Chelsea 3-2 Brighton & Hove Albion
- 16/12/23: Chelsea 2-0 Sheffield United
- 27/12/23: Chelsea 2-1 Crystal Palace
- 13/1/24: Chelsea 1-0 Fulham
Chelsea enjoyed the lion’s share of possession and chances against Fulham, but the win didn’t come easy. It took a first-half Cole Palmer penalty to separate the West London rivals as Fulham were more than a match.
Harry Wilson got on the end of a cross following a quick counter, but Djordje Petrovic saved his close-range effort. Armando Broja had an earlier opportunity for Chelsea but headed wide from a corner.
Raheem Sterling danced in the area, drawing a foul by cutting inside, and Chelsea were awarded a penalty. Palmer made no mistake, wrong-footing Bernd Leno with a fierce low shot.
Fulham came close to equalising in the second half, but Raul Jiminez’s chance inside the area was too weak. He hit a first-time shot into the hands of Petrovic after good work from Andreas Pereira.
Can Pochettino get his side firing on the road?

Chelsea held on for the win, sealing their second clean sheet at home in a month. The Blues were struggling for results at home earlier in the campaign, but they now look formidable at the Bridge.
It’s their away form that needs work, however, as Pochettino’s side have four defeats from five on the road. Chelsea next face Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League to wrap up January too – their biggest test for weeks.
